Google Offers is taking on Groupon and LivingSocial, partnering with daily deals providers and now has 30 partners in 40 cities. Bad for GRPN? Hard to argue why GRPN stock should rise in the future with Google on its heels.

 

Bargain hunters are not typically brand loyal – a good deal is a good deal – saving money is the bottom line. If Google can expand to reach Groupon and LivingSocials customers – there is no reason why Google shouldnt take significant marketshare, especially when Google has partners like AT&T.
